Matthew 28:18-20 -- Jesus said, go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...
James 1:27 -- Religion that is pure and undefiled before God,
is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

At the Clarion Church of Christ, mission work is important to us. We support and participate in "Missions" through taking the message of God's love to those who have not heard as well as reaching out to the poor and broken-hearted; offering help however we can. At the Clarion Church of Christ, we choose the missions we support both stateside & around the world.

Northeast Iowa Christian Service Camp - Campgrounds near Bristow, Iowa
KJYL 100.7 FM - Christian Radio based in Eagle Grove, IA
Freedom for Youth - Ecumenical after school program in Clarion
Tim Behrends - Ministering with Tim Cahill, witnessing for Christ in Las Vegas and other areas around the world.
Support of CGD Fellowship of Christian Athletes - ministering to the school youth of our area
Heather Redig - ministering in Sierra Leone through Missions Go
Water for Life - giving funds building clean wells in 3rd world countries
Campus Christian Fellowship - ministering to college students in several Iowa mainline universities
Deaf Missions - translating the Bible and Jesus film into American Sign Language. Setting the foundation for translating them into other signed languages.
CHICKS - Reaching out to middle and high school girls in Clarion.
