At the Clarion Church of Christ, we strive to...
Obey the Lord's commands (1 Samuel 15:22)
Trust in the Lord's ways (Isaiah 12:2)
Worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24)
We Believe in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and that they are distinct personalities with distinct roles, but one God. And this One God is the Creator of the universe.
We Believe Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and was resurrected from the grave after 3 days. He is alive and interceding for each of us today. A day is coming when He will return as our victorious Lord and gather His faithful followers to take them home.
We Believe everyone who is in Christ has the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit whose main work is to bring us conviction, comfort, courage and counsel.
We Believe our salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and cannot be earned. It is a gift of God. We must accept it in order to receive it.
We Believe faith in Jesus is not to be stagnant and requires expression to be genuine and vibrant.
We Believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a person who has confessed faith in Jesus as the Lord & Savior of their life.
We Believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper (Communion) every week at the invitation of Jesus as we remember the ultimate sacrifice He made by dying on a cross for our sins.
We Believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is our guide to living lives of holiness, righteousness and obedience. It is God's special revelation to us that we might have better understanding of who He is and what He desires from us. We must not add to it or take away from it.
We Believe the church, is the body of Christ, and the extension of Jesus Christ's character, attitude, behavior and mission in our world today.
We Believe God gives gifts to both men and women for the benefit of the ministry of the church in advancing God's Kingdom.
in essentials, unity
